Team All-Star and the division's leading scorer Pete
Koulouris will miss the next 2-3 weeks with a
suspected broken wrist. Pizza Pete sustained the
injury in the 2nd period of Monday night's game
versus the Usual Prospects, when he collied in the
corner with an opponent and jammed his left wrist. He
finished the game with a goal.
X-rays initially were negative, but doctors believe he has a tiny hairline fracture. Besides some bruising and swelling, Koulouris isn't experiencing any sharp pain but has a splint on for precautionary reasons.
The injury will force Pete to miss tonight's game against Inferno. But it couldn't have come at a better time in the schedule. The league starts it's Christmas break this weekend and games don't resume until the new year, leaving a couple week's for the team to rest, meaning Koulouris will miss a minimal amount of games and could be back after the break.
