The Vancouver Prowlers Hockey Club shored up their
final 3 free agents on Thursday, including league
leading scorer Pete Koulouris. Top forward Brendan
Wilson and grinder Dan Marcheen round out the trio.
With these final three, the Prowlers have every
player that won the Division title returning for the
2007-08 season.
Koulouris, named the team's Most Exciting Player, lead the team in goals (24), assists (25), shorthanded goals (3) and points (50) in 27 games last year. Pete's linemate, Brendan Wilson will also be returning after a stellar season, posting 14 goals and 17 assists in 20 games last season.
Marcheen, who was a free agent pick up last summer, continually improved over the season and played a pivotal role in the playoffs, pushing the team to the Division Title.
"I would have never thought we would of had everyone signed 2 weeks before the season opener." exclaimed team GM Chad Scott. "In addition, everyone from last year is returning, you can't ask for much more than that. We can't wait to rock the new XM colours. It's going to be a great season."
The Prowlers first game is Friday, September 7th vs Wingnuts.
