Prowlers Barrel Over Rodeo Clowns

If the Rodeo Clowns were looking to rein in their
first win of the season they chose the wrong bull
fight. With backup goalie Dean Kuntz holding the fort
the Rodeo Clowns gave it their best effort but the
Prowlers would eventually prove to be too much beast
to handle.
The first two periods saw the combatants trade goals as Steve Bouwman tallied his first of the year ( and first as a Prowler) to answer the Clowns opening tally.
In the second Greg Clark lassoed a rolling puck into the net to take the lead before the Clowns would tie it again before the 2nd intermission.
In the third frame Tim Mooney would give the Prowlers the lead again as he unleashed a rocket from the point that beat the Clowns' keeper high and cleanly. The Clowns would answer back on the following shift but Steve Hopson would put the Prowlers ahead for good with hard working tally from in close.
Ryan snyder added an empty netter before Jeff Duncan and his magical 'stash ripped a top shelf beauty to kick the Clowns while they were down.
The Prowlers have now won 5 straight and remain in first place.
After the game Bouwman put everything in perspective " It was nice to get that first one out of the way ... we've got three more games before the break so we better not pat ourselves on the back too much"
Wilson added " It's all about the W's. That's all we care about in here. We just need to stay focused and the rest will take care of itself"
The Prowlers take on Satan this Friday night - Management will not release the location of the after game festivities so as not to create the mad rush of Prowlettes that would no doubt overwhelm local security services.
