Prowlershockey.ca Attacked by Online Terrorists

It seems that not even a small hockey team from
Canada is immune from the anti-western attacks of the
Middle East as the Prowlers website was hacked by
Islamic political activists earlier this week.
The home page of Prowlershockey.ca was replaced by a black and grey message promising an end to nations including the UK, United States and Israel among others. Canada was not mentioned.
Accompanying the message was a stick figure cartoon that showed violent and disturbing images of destruction and explosions. The site was offline for 4 days as technicians worked to neutralize the attack.
"It doesn't look like anything has been stolen or compromised by a virus" said website administrator Chad Scott.
"We have since taken measures by adding extra levels of security and encryption to ensure to decrease the probability of a similar attack happening again."
Scott admitted that no website is immune from attacks.
Initial investigations reveal that an individual who goes by the code name "dr@g" is responsible for the attack. The FBI has been contacted and informed of the attack, but weren't available for comment.
The attacked caused delays to the Prowlette of the Week and registration for the NHL Hockey Pool. Both are back up and running.
